In today’s match, J Holder took the first wicket in this match of the TATA IPL-2023 and Prabhsimran Singh scored the first fifty of the TATA IPL-16 match 8 and it’s the first fifty of his IPL career as well. He scored brilliantly 60 runs in 34 balls. Captain Shikhar Dhawan scored not out 86 runs in 56 balls as PBKS posted a total of 197 for four. From the RR side, Jason Holder took 2 wickets and Jos Buttler took outstanding catches on the field as well.
In the second inning of the match, from the RR side, Captain Sanju Samson again played a brilliant inning and scored 42 runs in just 25 balls. Shimron Hetmyer scored 36 runs in just 18 balls and Dhruv Jurel scored 32 runs in 15 balls. From the PBKS side, Nathan Ellis took 4 wickets, and Arshdeep Singh took 2 wickets.
Punjab Kings (PBKS) won by 5 runs in today’s game.
