In today’s match, Abishek Porel made an IPL debut from the DC side. M Shami took the first wicket in this match of the TATA IPL-2023 and Noone scored fifty in the first inning of the TATA IPL-16 match 7. Axar Patel showed a brilliant inning with the bat and scored 36 runs in just 22 balls. Captain David Warner scored 37 runs in 32 balls, and Abishek Porel played a brilliant cameo and scored 20 runs in just 11 balls as DC posted a total of 162 for eight. From the GT side, Rashid Khan and M Shami took 3 wickets each.
In the second innings of the match, from the GT side, Sai Sudharsan again played a brilliant inning and registered his second fifty in his IPL Career. He scored first and only fifty in the match as well. He scored 62 runs in just 48 balls. Vijay Shankar scored 29 runs and David Miller scored 31 runs. From DC side, Anrich Nortje took 2 wickets.
