The 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will be an eighth astonishing cricket tournament, scheduled to be played in Australia from 16 October to 13 November 2022. The world’s biggest 16 teams will clash in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.

The tournament is generally held every two years. Australia is the venue and host of the tournament. They are also the defending champions of the tournament. Australia won their first-ever title in T20 WC in 2021 after defeating New Zealand in the final.

A total of 45 games will be played during the tournament including the qualifier and super 12 round. The qualifier round will be played first, during which 4 teams will qualify for the super 12 round. The 8 teams will go straight to the super 12s.

There are a total of 16 teams that are part of the T20 World Cup 2022. Out of these, 8 teams have already qualified for the super 12 round. The other 8 teams will square off in the qualifier round.

Teams In Qualifier Round:

Qualifier teams are Sri Lanka, Namibia, UAE, Netherlands, West Indies, Scotland, Zimbabwe and Ireland. These teams are divided into 2 groups. Two top teams from each group will qualify for the super 12 round.

Teams In Super 12 Round:

Super 12 round teams are India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, Australia, New Zealand, Afghanistan, England, A1, A2, B1 and B2. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2022.
