The 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL), also known as IPL 16 or, for sponsorship reasons, Tata IPL 2023, will be the sixteenth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), a professional Twenty20 cricket league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in India contested annually by franchise teams representing ten cities. The IPL 2023 season will be the 16th edition of the league and the media rights for the tournament are currently being held by Star India, who won the bid again to acquire them in 2023 till 2027, and the Viacom18 consortium had exclusively acquired the streaming rights. In June 2022, the broadcasting rights for the 2023 to 2027 seasons were sold for ₹48,390 crores (US$6.1 billion) by the BCCI, marking it the second most valuable tournament in the world after the NFL (overtaking the English Premier League).

The IPL 2023 media rights are set to include broadcasting and streaming rights for the tournament across all platforms, including digital platforms like mobile phones, tablets, and other web-based services.
