Fazalhaq Farooqi took the first wicket in this match of the TATA IPL-2023 and Jos Buttler scored the first fifty of the TATA IPL-16 match 4. Jos Buttler showed brilliant destructions with the bat and he scored 54 runs in just 22 balls. Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored 54 runs in 37 balls, made 85 runs in the powerplay. Captain Sanju Samson scored 55 runs in 32 balls as RR posted a total of 203 for five. And RR registered the first 200 scores of the TATA IPL-2023. From the SRH side, Fazalhaq Farooqi and T Natarajan took 2 wickets each.
In the second innings of the match, from the RR side, Trent Boult bowled a brilliant first over and took 2 wickets and Yuzvendra Chahal took 4 wickets. The impact player from SRH Abdul Samad played a short brilliant but slow inning and scored 32 runs in 32 balls.
